Graham G. Maiden is a multidisciplinary artist whose imaginative world bridges the realms of sculpture, painting, and textile art. Born in the United Kingdom and now living in Spain, Graham brings with him a rich creative legacy shaped by more than 30 years of experience in the international film and television industry. He has worked in renowned creative centers such as London, Manchester, Bristol, San Francisco, Hollywood, and Berlin — contributing to beloved productions including James and the Giant Peach, Mars Attacks!, Chicken Run, The Corpse Bride, and The Sandman.
Today, his artistic voice continues to evolve in Altea, where he creates symbolic sculptures, whimsical paintings, and detailed embroidery works. Graham’s visual language is immediately recognizable — elongated figures, expressive gestures, and otherworldly forms unfold in narratives that are both theatrical and deeply poetic. His works seem to emerge from myths or dreams, blending motion and stillness, playfulness and introspection.
Graham’s sculptures often possess a fluid, dancing quality — as if caught amid transformation — while his paintings echo the spirit of modernist abstraction infused with surrealist storytelling. His embroidered creations add another layer of intimacy, revealing the patient hand behind each thread and contour. Through each medium, Graham invites us into a world of archetypes, masquerades, and metaphorical dialogues, where the human spirit takes on fantastical shapes and timeless emotion.
