Rodolfo Navarro

Rodolfo Navarro (b. 1966, Valencia, Spain) is a multidisciplinary artist known for his large-format paintings, sculptural installations, and emotionally charged figures that blend classical training with contemporary vision. His works often explore transformation – of space, form, and the human condition – through a visual language that fuses gesture, structure, and symbolic resonance.

Navarro’s career spans over three decades, with exhibitions and public art projects across Europe and Asia. He has created major site-specific installations at iconic locations, including the Great Wall of China, the Fontainebleau Palace in France, and the city of Shenzhen, China. His artistic path began at age 14 under the guidance of Spanish master Rafael Pérez Contel, and matured through formal training in Valencia and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

His works have been exhibited at institutions such as the Palau de Cervelló (Valencia), Wolfsburg Modern Art Museum (Germany), and Museo San Pío V. A number of his projects integrate painting, sculpture, and architecture – inviting viewers to not only observe but move through and within the artwork.

From June 20 through August 2, 2025, Aurum Altea proudly presents a curated selection of Rodolfo Navarro’s works, including:

• Four monumental paintings from his 2025 solo exhibition at Palau de Cervelló, Valencia
• Two sculptural pieces shown in the same exhibition
• Additional selected works on paper, smaller-format paintings and sculptures

The exhibition reveals the expressive power and poetic precision of Navarro’s recent work, offering both scale and sensitivity. Visitors are invited to experience the works spatially, emotionally, and symbolically — stepping into a world shaped by color, rhythm, and human form.
