Flor Verdú (Granada, 1958) is a Spanish visual artist specialising in expressive abstraction. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Barcelona, with a focus on painting. Over the years, her work has evolved into a unique visual language that blends organic, dreamlike forms with bold use of colour, exploring the tension between chaos and order. She lives and works in Granada, actively engaging in contemporary art projects and exhibitions.
Her career includes participation in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Spain and internationally, with recent appearances at Art Fair Paris, Luxembourg Art Fair, and the IX Salón de Arte Abstracto in Madrid. Her works are part of private collections in Germany and the United States. Verdú has also been recognised with several awards, including the Premio Ciudad de Getafe and prizes at the Salón de Otoño in Madrid.
Colour plays a central role in Verdú’s practice, both as a structural element and as an expressive force. Through her canvases, she explores the hidden architecture of reality, creating open spaces where chaos and order find equilibrium and where viewers are invited to project their own memories and sensations. Verdú’s art offers not only visual impact but also an immersive, sensory experience that lingers long after the moment of viewing.
“Each work is an autonomous universe, but all share the same vital pulse. My proposal invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a sensory space, where perception becomes experience.”
— Flor Verdú
