« I try to create each of my paintings inspired by the sea. The pure sea, just as it is, as a natural element and source of life, a source of balance and serenity. I want to give the viewer a real window to the sea, where they smell the salty air, hear the waves crashing, and feel the cool splashes of Mediterranean spray while standing at the water’s edge.”
The sparkles created by the sunlight on the surface of the water, the amazing force behind a wave, the little windows of translucency that flicker inside for a split second just before crashing against the shore are really wonderful. Painting is a means to express my emotions, a source of balance and serenity.The end point only exists when I feel in harmony with the painting.”
