Studio Rules and Guidelines

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Personal Responsibility: Each artist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining their own workspace.
  • Common Areas: Everyone should contribute to keeping common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, sinks, etc.) clean.
  • Waste Disposal: Artists must properly dispose of their waste, including recycling and hazardous materials (e.g., solvents, paints).
  • End-of-Day Cleanup: All artists should clean up their space and any shared areas they used before leaving for the day.

Storage Guidelines

Each artist is provided with a labeled drawer (37 x 23 cm; 8.5 cm high) for storing personal items. Items can be stored for up to 2 weeks after your last visit. If items are not retrieved within this 2-week period, they will be either discarded or redistributed.

All stored items, including artworks, must be labeled with the artist’s name.

Artists are allowed to store one painting up to 80 x 80 cm or two smaller canvases up to 40 x 50 cm simultaneously, also for a maximum of 2 weeks. Other non-standard storage arrangements are not provided but may be possible if circumstances allow and a personal agreement is made in advance.

Respect for Others

Noise Levels: Be mindful of noise. Use headphones for music.

Respect for Personal Space: Do not touch or move other artists’ work or supplies without permission.
